Feel inspired by photos of the sun, sky and night sky and incredible images of the sea and coast. Enjoy photos taken around a bustling English town and along the river that runs through. The photos in this collection were taken in Sunderland, a city in the north-east of England. The city’s name is reputed to come from Soender-land, likely to be a reference to the valley carved out by the river that runs through the heart of the town.
The Scenes
Some of the photos were taken on the famous Roker beach, some in Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens. Others were taken in downtown Sunderland and in the neighbourhood of Ashbrooke.
